The Rockland Institute for Mind-Body Education (LLC) is a social enterprise whose
purpose is:
•To advance general public education about the relationship between the body, mind, emotions and spirituality.
• To provide training, education and support to helping organizations, such as hospitals, churches, mental health agencies, nursing homes, schools and hospices, on mind-body issues.
• To promote and enhance dialogue between mind-body practitioners, helping and medical professionals and academics.
• To initiate and support research on the mind-body connection and states of consciousness.
RIMBE seeks to accomplish these purposes by providing educational programming, training and seminars, participating in pilot projects within organizations, conducting and participating in research projects, and sponsoring networking and support groups. Services are offered both to the general community, individuals and to helping organizations such as hospitals, nursing homes, schools, churches, hospices and mental health organizations.
