The Rockland Institute for Mind-Body Education is an organization whose purpose is:
•To advance general public education about the relationship between the body, mind, emotions and spirituality.
• To provide training, education and support to helping organizations, such as hospitals, churches, mental health agencies and hospices, on mind-body issues.
• To promote and enhance dialogue between mind-body practitioners, medical professionals and academics.
• To initiate and support research on the mind-body connection and states of consciousness.
RIMBE seeks to accomplish these purposes by providing educational programming, training and seminars, participating in pilot projects within organizations, initiating and supporting research projects and by providing referral for services to qualified practitioners. Services are offered both to the general community and to helping organizations such as hospitals, nursing homes, schools, churches, hospices and mental health organizations.
Workshop and Seminar Leaders are practitioners and professionals of the community with significant experience and accomplishment in their field of expertise.
