She has been educated at The University of Iowa, The Cooper Union for Science and Art (BS in Engineering), The Institute for Transpersonal Psychology (Masters of Transpersonal Psychology), the Institute of Core Energetics (Certified Core Energetics Practitioner), The Barbara Brennan School of Healing (2 years), the Lung Ta Institute and has received various other healing trainings.  She is currently serving as a Graduate School Faculty Mentor at the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology and training in Somatic Experiencing techniques. Jeanne spent 15 years practicing structural engineering.  She is a writer and poet.  She has also trained as a birth doula, attended and supported numerous births and has offered spiritual care for years at the bedside of hospice patients.  She is a mother to four children.

Private Practice

Jeanne’s practice in Suffern, NY focuses on helping people use life issues such as emotional unease, anxiety, crises, illness, bereavement or birth to find a greater connection to themselves, their bodies, their health and their sense of personal meaning. This is accomplished first through talking. It usually also includes breathwork, movement, bodywork and other touch and non-touch methods as needed. The course of work together gradually supports physical and emotional release and renewal, and increases awareness and empowerment. Finding an understanding of these changes in the context of a client's own spirituality is supported and encouraged to the extent that clients find this useful for them.
